About this piece
Ocean Shore captures the moment a wave reaches the beach, seen from above. Layer by layer, the resin is poured from deep navy into bright turquoise, and the white foam is worked by hand so every wave breaks differently. Along the shore, real stones, preserved moss and small green plants build a three-dimensional coastline you can see from the side. A tiny boat leaves its wake across the open water, and brushed-silver Roman numerals turn the scene into a working wall clock. Every piece is made to order in our Istanbul studio, so the waves, stones and greenery on your clock will be unique.
